Kaguya Knits began as a return to something familiar. After fifteen years away from crocheting, I picked up a hook again hoping to feel that old spark—the nostalgia of working with my hands, the comfort of a craft I once loved. What started as a hobby quickly turned into joy, curiosity, and eventually, a full collection of one-of-a-kind pieces.
As the fashion landscape shifted these past few years, one thing became painfully clear: plus-size bodies still aren't represented the way they should be. So I decided to make clothes for myself—because why not? If the industry wouldn't create whimsical, cute, hot designs for bodies like mine, then I will.
While diving into tutorials and social media, I realized something else: there weren't many plus-size crocheters making clothes I felt connected to. Nothing that matched the playful, magical, feminine style I wanted to wear. And I knew I wasn't alone.
Kaguya Knits is my answer to that gap. A brand built on nostalgia, self-expression, and the belief that plus-size bodies deserve clothing that feels just as enchanting as it looks.
